Kirsten is a print journalist who spends a lot of time on the internet.
She owns nine pairs of cowboy boots, one tree frog and a growing vinyl collection. She likes good sentences. One time she hosted a radio show about Eastern European folk music. She knows how to make soap from scratch.
Professionally, she is the social media and homepage editor of Seattlepi.com, one of the first daily metro newspapers in the country to go online-only.
She holds a master's degree in communication. From 2015 to 2016, she edited the program's student-produced news outlet focused on tech, science and media.
Ask her about that time she lived in Iceland. She has also spent time in Ghana. You can ask her about that, too.
You can find selected clips of her work here.
